IWB – Inside the Waistband
Worn on the inside of the waistband [IWB] to conceal weapon.
A holster that rides inside the waistband can be an unobtrusive method of concealed carry.
Most inside the waist band (IWB) holsters can be worn cross-draw or on the strong side, depending on the situation and wearer preference.
OWB – Outside the Waistband
Worn on the outside of the waistband [OWB] to conceal weapon.
OWB holsters can be used with handguns of any size, but are particularly applicable to full size and compact service pistols, which have a limited number of carry options. OWB holsters are the best option for a fast draw and re-holstering. OWB Holsters require a coat or a shirt untucked to conceal weapon.

FOMI Clip
The FOMI clip is one of the most popular choices among gun carriers. It is made for inside the waistband holsters. Since the FOMI clip is made out of plastic, it is one of the more lightweight and low profile clip options.
Ulticlip
This clip is a popular option among individuals who prefer not wearing a belt. The Ulticlip is made out of metal, rather than plastic. It has a closing mechanism that locks the clip in place and allows it to securely grasp onto fabric. This clip was created with the purpose of functioning without a belt.
Monoblock Gear Clip
This clip design allows for a very secure carry on belts, waistlines, or any attachment point where the spring steel clip tabs can be positioned securely.
Strong Side
If you are right handed the gun is worn on the right side, with the handle in the proper position so you can grasp and draw your gun with the correct
grip and shoot as quickly as possible. There is no need to reach across or around your body because your strong hand is already close to the firearm.
Straight Draw
Gun is positioned in holster in a perpendicular position or vertical position.
Cant
Gun is positioned in holster in a slightly angled position.
Sweat Guard
An option available on certain holster styles. Helps keep perspiration away from the weapon.
